TITLE: MAINTENANCE
REPORTS TO: Plant Superintendent
JOB FUNCTION:
Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment, follow
preventative maintenance programs, assist outside
contractors
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
High School Equivalent, Must complete AP&P Maintenance
Apprentice program or have equivalent maintenance
training to provide general knowledge of welding,
machine tools, electrical, hydraulic, carpentry,
plumbing, engine repair
EXPERIENCE:
Must complete AP&P Maintenance Program or have
equivalent experience in industry in the above
maintenance areas, on-the-job training
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Follow preventative maintenance program
2. Make repairs to equipment to maintain production
schedules, quality
3. Maintain maintenance files on all equipment,
buildings
4. Work with department supervisors to minimize
disruption to production
schedules when repairs needed
5. Follow appropriate ANSI, NEC codes; OSHA regulations,
including safety
requirements
6. Work with outside contractors
7. On call for after hours maintenance issues.
8. Perform other duties as requested by management
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Ability to stand and / or walk (being on your feet)
for eight hours.
2. Good vision, correctable with glasses.
3. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
4. Other requirements may be necessary as the job
dictates.
